1. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Medicare Reporting Analyst oversees MMSEA Section 111 reporting clients for Sanderson Firm. This role will act as a subject matter expert in Section 111 reporting for our clients, providing education and best practice guidance. This role will be involved in the new client prospecting process, implementation as well as auditing Section 111 data for clients.
2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Work with Sales/Business Development team to understand client needs and reporting solutions.
b. Join sales calls to discuss Sanderson Firm reporting benefits.
c. Monitor and control implementation of new client.
d. Provide monthly query and error reports to client with feedback.
e. Assist clients with troubleshooting data issues and error correction.
f. Continued review of client data to ensure compliance.
g. Provide training and direction to new and existing clients on MSP compliance.
h. Author blogs regarding MMSEA Section 111 reporting and participate in webinars on an as needed basis.
i. Complete client section 111 data audit, prepare reports and present to client with best practices recommendations and compliance overview for both Sanderson Firm reporting clients and non-reporting clients.
j. Verify Section 111 billing is completed in a timely manner.
k. Monitor RRE status to make sure recertifications are done on time.
l. Provide guidance to clients on the handling of Workers’ Compensation, Liability and No-Fault claims with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) exposure.
m. Stay current on Section 111 reporting requirements and updates provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
n. Abide by all rules of the company such as safety, confidentiality, and organizational directives.
3. QUALIFICATIONS:
a. 5+ years of experience in managing Section 111 reporting clients with strong customer service skills.
b. MSP knowledge.
c. Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault, and Liability claim knowledge.
d. Experience managing or working with account managers and/or sales team.
e. Required skills: time management, organization, clear and concise communication, presentation skills, effective email writing, interdepartmental collaboration, and ability to work in fast paced environment.
f. Proven productivity in remote environment.
g. Working knowledge of all Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
h. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
i. Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment.
j. Must be able to work well under pressure and/or stressful conditions.
k. Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events.
l. Must demonstrate reliability and ability to abide by the company attendance policy.
